We're so glad you're here.

Hi, we're Andrew and Cristina. We're a blended family with three girls, a few beloved dogs, and a love for places that bring people together.

We bought our Lake Harmony home as a family getaway and memory-maker, and we're excited to share it with guests looking for a comfortable mountain escape. Whether you're here for the lake, ski season, a family weekend, or just a change of scenery, our goal is to make the house feel easy, welcoming, and thoughtfully hosted.

We believe the best stays are the ones where everything feels simple: clear communication, useful local recommendations, and a home that's ready for real life. We hope our Laurelwoods house becomes part of a great memory for you, too. 🌲

A few things to keep in mind

No parties or extra guests Please keep occupancy to the booked party only.

No smoking or vaping indoors Vaping is permitted outside on the back patio only. Please dispose of butts properly.

Quiet hours: 10pm – 8am Please be mindful of neighbors during these hours.

Trash disposal Use communal dumpsters opposite #50 Laurelwoods Dr. No trash left in or outside the house.

Pets Please confirm your pet policy via your booking platform.

Lock up when leaving Please secure all doors and windows when you head out.

Main TV (Living Room — above the fireplace)

Use the TV remote to turn it on.
It's a smart TV — use the remote to navigate to your preferred streaming service (Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, etc.).
Log in to your own account and enjoy.
When you leave, please sign out of any personal accounts you logged into.

📌 The remote is usually in the holder on the kitchen bar counter. Spare batteries are in the kitchen junk drawer.

Master Bedroom TV (Roku)

Use the Roku remote to browse and select your streaming content.
Log in to your own account and enjoy.
When you leave, please sign out of any personal accounts you logged into.

📌 Two remotes: TV remote (power) + Roku remote (content). Both should be on the bedside table or dresser.

Gas Fireplace

Locate the fireplace remote on the mantel.
Press the ON button — the pilot will ignite automatically.
Use the flame height buttons to adjust the level.
To turn off, press OFF and wait for the flame to fully extinguish before leaving the room.

⚠️ The fireplace is turned off during summer months — please don't attempt to use it. In cooler months, never leave it on unattended or overnight. Ensure the glass screen is closed when in use.

Washer & Dryer

Washer and dryer are located in the closet on the basement floor, between the stairs and games room.
Add detergent to the dispenser drawer — pods or liquid both work.
Select your cycle and press Start.
For the dryer, clean the lint trap before every use (it's on the inside of the door).
Select heat level and press Start.

📌 Detergent pods are provided in the laundry room cabinet. Feel free to use them!

Heating & Cooling

The main AC/Heat system is controlled by the center panel located near the kitchen bar counter — use this for day-to-day temperature control.
Press the display to wake it, then use ▲ / ▼ to set your desired temperature and toggle between Heat and Cool modes.
The wall thermostats around the house control the baseboard heaters only — you won't need these unless it's cold winter weather.

📌 Please keep the temperature between 65–78°F. Avoid leaving the system running with windows open.

Drinking Water

A filtered water dispenser / pitcher is available on the kitchen counter.
Refill using the kitchen sink — the filter handles the rest.
Bottled water is also available in the refrigerator.

Trash & Recycling

Please use the communal dumpsters located opposite 50 Laurelwoods Drive.
Do not leave trash inside or outside the house — all rubbish must go to the dumpsters.
There is no kerbside pickup — the dumpsters are available any time.
