Hi, we're Andrew and Cristina. We're a blended family with three girls, a few beloved dogs, and a love for places that bring people together.

We bought our Lake Harmony home as a family getaway and memory-maker, and we're excited to share it with guests looking for a comfortable mountain escape. Whether you're here for the lake, ski season, a family weekend, or just a change of scenery, our goal is to make the house feel easy, welcoming, and thoughtfully hosted.

We believe the best stays are the ones where everything feels simple: clear communication, useful local recommendations, and a home that's ready for real life. We hope our Laurel Woods house becomes part of a great memory for you, too. 🌲

A few things to keep in mind

No parties or extra guests Please keep occupancy to the booked party only.

No smoking or vaping indoors Vaping is permitted outside on the back patio only. Please dispose of butts properly.

Smart TV & Streaming

  1. Turn on the TV using the remote — press the power button at the top.
  2. Use the Home button to reach the main menu.
  3. Select your streaming app (Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, etc.).
  4. Sign in to your own account, or use the guest profiles already set up.
  5. When you leave, please sign out of any personal accounts you logged into.
📌 The remote is usually on the TV stand or coffee table. Batteries are in the kitchen junk drawer if needed.

Gas Fireplace

  1. Locate the fireplace remote on the mantel.
  2. Press the ON button — the pilot will ignite automatically.
  3. Use the flame height buttons to adjust the level.
  4. To turn off, press OFF and wait for the flame to fully extinguish before leaving the room.
⚠️ Please never leave the fireplace on unattended or overnight. Ensure the screen/glass is closed when in use.

Washer & Dryer

  1. Washer and dryer are located in the closet on the basement floor, between the stairs and games room.
  2. Add detergent to the dispenser drawer — pods or liquid both work.
  3. Select your cycle and press Start.
  4. For the dryer, clean the lint trap before every use (it's on the inside of the door).
  5. Select heat level and press Start.
📌 Detergent pods are provided in the laundry room cabinet. Feel free to use them!

Heating & Cooling (Thermostat)

  1. The thermostat is located on the [main floor hallway wall].
  2. Press the display to wake it up.
  3. Use the ▲ / ▼ to set your desired temperature.
  4. Toggle between Heat / Cool using the mode button.
📌 Please keep the temperature between 65–78°F. Avoid leaving heat or A/C running with windows open.

  • Refill using the kitchen sink — the filter handles the rest.
  • Bottled water is also available in the refrigerator.

  • Do not leave trash inside or outside the house — all rubbish must go to the dumpsters.
  • There is no kerbside pickup — the dumpsters are available any time.
